Input Jack Socket Jack input for your guitar. Use a good quality guitar cable (i.e. one that's screened/shielded) to help prevent noise, interference and unwanted feedback. 9. Treble Control (MG15 & MG15R only) 2. Volume Control - Clean Channel 3. Channel Switch This control adjusts the volume of the Clean Channel. This switch allows you to change between the amp's two channels, Clean and Overdrive, via the front panel. When the LED is green, the Clean channel is engaged. When the LED is red, the Overdrive channel is engaged. By adjusting the Treble control you can add or take away the higher frequencies in your guitar tone. By increasing the amount of treble you will make your tone brighter, ideal for more percussive playing styles. 10. Reverb Control (MG15R only) 11. MP3 Line In Socket This control lets you add a lush reverb to the selected channel, from a subtle hint to cavernous and all points in-between. If you want to jam to your favourite MP3, CD or tape track, merely connect the line out or headphone output of your player here, adjust the volume of your player to match that of your guitar and you've got the perfect `playalong' practice system. 4. Gain Control - Overdrive Channel This control sets the operating level of the pre-amp. Simply turn up the Gain control until the required amount of distortion is achieved. 5. Volume Control - Overdrive Channel 6. Contour Control (MG10 only) This control adjusts the volume of the Overdrive channel. The louder this channel is set, the `looser' the amplifier will sound and feel. This highly effective tone control works by modifying the mid-range (body). The tone can range from traditional and woody sounding (setting at 10), to balls-to-the-wall (setting at midway), to aggressive, `scooped' and modern (setting at 0)... and all points in-between. 12. Headphones Socket 13. Power Switch For use when silent practice is the order of the day. Connection of headphones will automatically mute the internal speaker. The power switch turns your amplifier on and off. The Channel switch will light up when your amplifier is turned on and will not be lit when the amplifier is switched off. Note: The specific mains input voltage rating that your amplifier has been built for is shown on the back panel. Before connecting to the mains electricity supply, always ensure that your amplifier is compatible with your electricity supply. If you have any doubt, please get advice from a qualified technician. Your Marshall dealer will help you in this respect. 7. Bass Control (MG15 & MG15R only) Turning the Bass control will effect the amount of low frequencies or bottom end in your guitar tone. Rotating this clockwise will increase the amount of lower tones creating deeper and thicker sounds. Turning this control anti-clockwise will decrease the bass frequencies in your tone reducing any bottom end thud. 8. Middle Control (MG15 & MG15R only) Adjusting the middle frequencies will vary the amount of body to your sound. Attenuating (decreasing) the middle by turning this control anticlockwise will yield a more hollow sound with the bass and treble frequencies appearing to be more accentuated. Conversely, increasing the middle will add body to the sound. Conector de entrada Entrada de jack para la guitarra. Utiliza un cable de guitarra de buena calidad (apantallado) que te ayudará a prevenir ruidos, interferencias y acoples no deseados. 2. Control de Volumen - Canal Limpio (Clean) 3. Interruptor de Canal control en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj se producirá un sonido más hueco con los graves y agudos aparentemente más acentuados. Por el contrario, incrementando los medios añadirás "cuerpo" al sonido. Este control ajusta el volumen del Canal Limpio (Clean). Este interruptor te permite cambiar entre los dos canales del amplificador, Limpio (Clean) y Saturado (Overdrive) a través del panel frontal. El LED se pondrá de color verde al activarse el canal Limpio y rojo cuando se active el canal Saturado. 9. Control de Agudos (sólo para el MG15 y MG15R Ajustando el control de Agudos añades o quitas frecuencias agudas al tono de la guitarra. Al incrementar la cantidad de agudos conseguirás un tono más brillante, ideal para estilos más percusivos. 10. Control de reverb (sólo para el MG15R) 4. Control de Ganancia (Gain) - Canal Saturado 5. Control de Volumen - Canal Saturado Este control ajusta el nivel operativo del previo. Simplemente vete subiendo el control de Ganancia hasta que consigas la cantidad de distorsión que busques. Este control ajusta el volumen del canal Saturado. Cuanto más alto se ajuste este canal, el amplificador sonará y responderá con más "soltura". Este control te permite añadir una reverb exuberante al canal seleccionado, desde un sutil matiz a una reverb de efecto cueva, pasando por todas las opciones intermedias. 11. Conector de Entrada de Línea para MP3 Si quieres tocar a la vez que suena tu reproductor MP3, CD o cinta, simplemente conecta la salida de línea o de auriculares de dicho reproductor en esta entrada, ajusta el volumen del reproductor para que empaste con el de la guitarra y conseguirás un perfecto sistema de práctica. 6. Control de Contour (sólo para el MG10CD) Este eficaz control de tono funciona modificando las frecuencias medias (cuerpo). El tono puede oscilar desde un sonido sólido y tradicional (poniéndolo al 10), hasta esos agresivos rugidos, huecos y metálicos (poniéndolo a 0), pasando por cualquier punto intermedio. 12. Conector de Auriculares Para utilizarlo cuando sea necesaria la práctica en silencio. La conexión de los auriculares silenciará automáticamente el altavoz. 13. Interruptor de Encendido 7. Control de Graves (sólo para el MG15 y MG15R) Subiendo el control de graves aumentas la cantidad de bajas frecuencias en el tono de tu guitarra. Girando el control en sentido de las agujas del reloj se incrementarán los tonos graves haciendo que tu sonido sea más gordo y profundo. Girando este control en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj, reducirás las frecuencias bajas en tu tono. Este interruptor enciende y apaga el amplificador. El interruptor del Canal se encenderá cuando tu amplificador esté encendido y no se iluminará cuando el amplificador esté apagado. Nota: El voltaje de alimentación correspondiente a tu amplificador se muestra en el panel trasero. Antes de conectar la unidad al enchufe de red, asegúrate antes que tu amplificador sea compatible con la red local. Si tienes alguna duda, por favor pide consejo a algún técnico cualificado.
